One of my friends became a Granny at the end of January and this is the card I made for her grandson Freddie. Shirley and I grew up on neighbouring farms and when her family moved farms she lived even closer. She and her husband built their own house on the land of the farm where she first lived and now they've turned the original farmhouse into holiday accommodation. From Netherbutton Cottages they have beautiful views over Scapa Flow in Orkney. Views which we both grew up with.
I made this card a few times last year in both blue and pink versions and details of what was used to make the card can be found in this post. It's hard to believe that the first little fellow I made this card for has his first birthday next month.
Here are a few more views of the card.
Thanks for reading today and welcome to Eileen my latest follower.
