Monochrome Gift Card



For his birthday my better half had asked for a subscription to the National Geographic Magazine and at the end of the process of joining you can print out a gift certificate with message for the recipient. As there were more pieces of the swirl background paper left, which I'd used to make his birthday card, I made a matching gift card to put the certificate in.

The base card for this one was printed from the Pink Petticoat Little Swirls Paper download in the Air Force Blue colourway.  The swirls pattern reminded me of waves. 

 


This gift card uses the same materials as his birthday card with the addition of the layered waves which were cut using a Quickutz die.  I then got completely carried away and made matching gift tags and a simple gift box.
