Another Page

On Tuesday evening I met up with the Crafting Bee at Carol's house for a scrapbooking session.   Linda had found us another page sketch to work from in the August selections of Page Maps.

I'd still got all the bits and pieces left out from our last session, as I had intended to make another page to add to my book, but as per usual cardmaking had got in the way so this was the opportunity to finish off what I'd started.  Ruth was continuing to scrapbook her daughter's eighteenth birthday photos, Linda's eldest son had started school the previous week so she was marking that occasion with a page and Ann was the most industrious and made two pages about her grandchildren.  Carol was in full swing with her card making and continued with that.  Again she made two cards and they were sh.....  (I'll say it quietly) Christmas ones.

I didn't stick completely to the sketch but turned it on it's side and tweeked the embellishments so that I could fit in three photos instead of the suggested two. This is the result of my night's work and I'm delighted to have made another entry for my scrapbook.  Hopefully over the two pages I have conveyed the fun Ian had at Hallowe'en and his love of Harry Potter.  I just need to keep the momentum going now.  I think I caused a bit of amusement as I was measuring very carefully to get everything placed where I wanted it to go.  Everybody has their own little quirks and that just happens to be mine.

And here's the first page I made at our previous session.

I'd like to enter this page into the following challenges

Thanks for reading
