WOYWW?

This is my posting for WOYWW? this week.  After last week's shocking revelation of what was actually on the dining table I decided to photograph a composed corner this week of all the things I'm hoping to use to make an 18th birthday card.  Hopefully this too will be my entry to this weeks Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Shabby Chic.  I haven't really done shabby chic before but looking forward to having a go with pinks and chocolate as the colour theme.  Better get a move on as the deadline is Friday evening.

Last Saturday I visited Simple Create in Alford, as they had a "Back to School" sale on, and I managed to find a glimmer mist to spray the pink roses I like to make.  The tattered rose glimmer mist was just what I'd been looking for.  Ties in with the fact that the flowers used to make the rose were cut from Tim Holtz's tattered floral die.  The flower on the right has been sprayed and I love how it looks as if the dew is still on it.

Thanks for dropping past and taking a look at my table this week.
