Off to join a group of crafting buddies for our monthly meet today. Time to swap our Halloween ATCs and this is my take on the theme. I over did this one when I "did a Liz". This is what my crafting friends refer to if they put lots on their project as it's well known amongst them that I don't know when to stop. There have been comments left on my WOYWW? posting pointing out that I've hidden techniques that were quite effective and I totally agree. Here is a picture of all the bits and pieces used to make each one and I think you'll see what they mean.
The base card was stamped with a Stamp in the Hand moon stamp and this was embossed using Stampendous Disco Black embossing powder and then coloured with a clear Sakura Stardust gelly pen. The bottom left corner was sponged with Versamark ink, embossed and a web was stencilled on using a quickutz die cut and Stampin' up chocolate chip ink. The remaining edges were sponged with Stampin' up Chocolate chip ink and then outlined with the gelly pen. It was at this stage that I should have drawn breath and stopped and not cover up the web effect. I did however try to redeem myself and also add it to the back of the card.
The ghost, web, spider and BOO embellishments are all Quickutz die cuts and the little pictures are from Joanna Sheen's Card Makers Year CD. Peel off stars were the final addition.
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges
