This is my entry to the Penny Black Saturday Challenge this week where the challenge is to add a number to personalise a card. This one is being set aside for my niece. The main image on this card is the Penny Black stamp "You are the Bestest" and is coloured using Promarkers and although I used this image on last week's challenge I couldn't resisit using it again in a different colourway The colour scheme for this one came from the flower backing paper which is from the Cuddly Buddly download Peppy Papers - Purple/Lime. I'm trying to work through my printed papers scrap box and there are a few pieces of this paper in it. The Happy Birthday paper is from the Cuddly Buddly download A Patchwork of Papers - Purple.
The layout for the card came from this week's Sketch Saturday Challenge.
The flower embellishments were made using Tim Holtz's Tattered Flower die, an X-cut embossing silhouette punch, a Tonic small flower punch and a Quickutz leaf die. Added to that were some sequin flowers and some paper roses and rosebuds. Final additions were crystal dot peeloffs, pearls, brads, purple ink sponged around the edge of the card blank and of course some ribbon.
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges
Sketch Saturday - Inspiration Layout
